North Greenbush Public Library Update

“Worm, worm, wiggle, squirm!”. Surprise! It’s time for April showers and mud and puddles, all imagined in the book “Worm Weather” by Jean Taft, included in our April Storytime kits, along with an activity sheet and a simple craft. Perfect for children ages 3-6, you can pick one up at the circulation desk while supplies last.

April may bring showers, but it is also National Poetry Month. Help celebrate this event along with our Virtual Book Club by emailing up to three of your favorite poems to library@nullnorthgreenbushlibrary.org by April 11. A compilation of the poems will be emailed to book club attendees on April 20 for a reading and discussion at the club’s monthly meeting, Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30 PM. Call the library at 518-283-0303 with questions and to request the meeting link.

Library hours are Monday-Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM; Saturday, 10 AM to 2 PM; Grab ‘N’ Go is available. Masks are strongly encouraged for all patrons. Information needed? Call 518-283-0303.

Breakfast and Books this Saturday!

The Sand Lake Town Library Friends invite you to “Breakfast & Books” Saturday, April 9th from 10am-12pm at the library. It’s part of National Library Week and a great way to “Connect with Your Library” as we officially launch our Friends group. Breakfast items and coffee will be provided by the Sand Lake Kiwanis. Members of the SLTL Friends will be on hand with some activities.

We look forward to talking with you about what we already do to support the library and hear your ideas. Take a little time out of your Saturday morning and enjoy “Breakfast & Books” with old and new friends!
