A Soldier from Every War: A Military Tour of St Agnes Cemetery

TROY – Join us at the Troy Public Library on Sunday, February 16th, at 1:30 pm for Mark Bodner’s presentation, a virtual tour of soldiers that served in many of our country’s conflicts. The lecture includes a Medal of Honor recipient from both the Civil War and WWI; a “Galvanized Yankee” from the Civil War; the first officer killed during the Spanish American War; a survivor of the infamous Bataan Death March of WWII; a prisoner of the Red Chinese Army during the Korean War; and a “Rosie the Riveter” – a local woman that worked in a war plant during WWII. Once again, Mark Bodnar resurrects history in this lecture that would otherwise be lost to time.

Sponsored by the Troy Irish Genealogy Society.

This program is free and open to the public. Advanced registration is recommended. For more information and to register, call the library at 518-274-7071 or online at www.thetroylibrary.org. The Troy Public Library is located at 100 2nd Street, Troy, NY.
