AVERILL PARK – Hello Warrior Fans. The football and volleyball teams wrapped up their regular seasons last week. I am delighted to report that spring sports are set to start competition next week!

The volleyball team lost a tight one to Troy on 4/19 with a final score of 20-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-19, 25-27. The girls turned it around on 4/21 with a 3-2 win against Shaker. Senior Allison Lapinski led the Warriors to victory with 53 assists. Senior Emma Burdick had 20 kills and 5 blocks while Senior Anna Jankovic had 14 kills and 21 digs. The volleyball team lost their final regular season game to Niskayuna 18-25, 20-25, 15-25 on 4/23. Anna Jankovic had 5 kills and 3 blocks, Molly Eaton had 5 blocks, and Emma Burdick had 7 kills in the loss.

The football team had a tough 28-0 loss to Burnt Hills on 4/23. They will finish out their season on 4/29 against Ballston Spa.
