Hello Warrior fans! It was a busy week of action for our varsity teams during spring break.

The softball team fell 10-3 to Shenendehowa on 4/20 despite a strong performance from Abbey Nagel who went 2-3, hitting a three run home run and a double. The girls turned it around on 4/22, with a 9-6 win over Burnt Hills. Riley O’Brien went 3-4 with 3 RBIs while Maisie Dawson and Bella Mancino each went 2-4 with 2 RBIs apiece. The softball team had a double header in Ballston Spa on 4/23. They dropped ther first game against Monroe-Woodbury 6-1. Maisie Dawson went 3-4 and Bella Mancino went 2-3 in the loss. The girls fell 15-5 in the second game against Shenendehowa. Abbey Nagel and Molly Eaton each hit home runs in the loss. The softball team travels to Ballston Spa for their next game on 4/28.

The girls lacrosse team lost to a tough Shenendehowa team on 4/19, with a 16-4 final score. The girls took on Burnt Hills on 4/21, where they lost 17-2. Lilli Vanderkar and Giana Geraci scored in the losing effort. The lacrosse team turned it around on 4/23, defeating Albany Academy 8-7. Gwen Jamison led the girls with five goals. Lilli Vanderkar also scored twice while Libby Bulmer and Giana Geraci added goals as well. The lacrosse team takes on Johnstown on 4/28 for their next game.

The baseball team fell 11-5 against Shenendehowa on 4/20. Alex Yash had a strong performance, going 3-4 with a double and two RBIs. The boys lost to Burnt Hills on 4/22, with a 6-2 final score. The baseball team travels to Amsterdam for their next game on 4/28.

The boys lacrosse team lost 16-2 against Shenendehowa on 4/20. Ethan Jamison scored both goals for the Warriors. The boys fell to Burnt Hills 21-2 on 4/21. Ethan Jamison and Luke Hempel each scored in the loss. The lacrosse team travels to CBA on 4/28 for their next game.

The tennis team fell to Burnt Hills 6-3 on 4/22. Zach Ryan and Greg Effman won on the singles end while Kyle Millington & Owen Perala won on the doubles end. Christian Romer and Cavan Hicks both had great matches that went to three sets. The tennis team faces CBA in their next game on 4/28.
