North Greenbush Public Library Update

Bring your little ones to Storytime on Tuesday at 11 AM in the Town Hall Annex, and Crafternoons on Thursday from 3-5 PM in the library’s children’s room.

And “May the 4th be with you!” at our Star Wars Crafternoon celebration next week with Star Wars crafts and a Star Wars scavenger hunt, anytime between 3 and 5 PM on Thursday, May 4th. Get ready for an out-of-this-world time!

The library’s Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, April 27, at 7 PM, in the meeting room at Eastwyck Village, at 1 Eastwyck Circle, off Best Road. The public is welcome.

Pick up your expedition map at the circulation desk, then get ready to join the 2023 Upper Hudson Library Expedition, ongoing now through July. Explore the world of library fun and prizes! Go to www.uhls.org/expedition to begin your road trip.

Spring Market Day at Poestenkill Library

The Friends of Poestenkill Library will be holding our Spring Market Day on the library lawn on Saturday, May 6, from 9am to 12pm, with a rain date of Sunday, May 7.

Organize Your Way to Sanity! with Declutter Coach Jes Marcy

“Fueling Creativity” Workshop with Award-Winning Author, Coleen Murtagh Paratore

Join us on Sunday, May 7th at 2 pm at the East Greenbush Community Library for a creative writing workshop, entitled “Fueling Creativity,” with award-winning local author Coleen Murtagh Paratore. In this light-hearted, interactive workshop, prolific author Coleen Murtagh Paratore will lead participants through several write-and-share rounds sure to inspire and jump-start that “something” you’ve always wanted to write. Coleen is the best-selling, award-winning author of 22 books across multiple genres, including picture books, novels, series, historical fiction, and inspirational memoir, with mega-publishers Simon & Schuster, Scholastic Press, Sourcebooks, and more.
