Hello Warrior fans! It was another strong week for our spring sports teams in the latter half of the season.

The softball team fell to a strong Guilderland team 6-3 on 5/2. Maisie Dawson hit a two run homer in the loss. The girls turned it around with a 13-2 win over Bethlehem on 5/5. Madi Rose went 2-3 with two runs while Molly Eaton hit a three run double in a multi-hit effort as well. The softball team finished out the week with a 13-0 shutout win over Schenectady on 5/6. Abby Colwill earned the complete game win, only allowing one hit while also going 2-3 at the plate. The softball team travels to Albany on 5/13 for their next game.

The baseball team lost to Guilderland on 5/2, with a 6-4 final score. Matt Dejulio went 2-2 with an RBI and a run scored. The boys fell 10-5 against Bethlehem on 5/5. Nicholas Galuski, Matt DeJulio, Michael Wormuth, Ethan Nardacci and Steve Koval all had multiple hits in the loss. The baseball team turned it around on 5/6 with a 7-1 win over Schenectady in their senior night game. The baseball team finished the week at .500, with a huge 22-2 win over Tamarac on 5/7. 

The boys lacrosse team faced Bethlehem on 5/3 on their senior night, where they lost 16-3. Luke Hempel scored twice and Ethan Jamison added the third goal while Aubrey Loucks-Best had 12 saves. The lacrosse team fell 22-9 against South Glens Falls on 5/7. Jacob Phelps had a monster game, with five goals and two assists. The lacrosse team will take on Niskayuna in their next game on 5/12.

The girls lacrosse team lost to Bethlehem on 5/3, with a 21-4 final score. Gwen Jamison had a hat trick while Ellie Garrison had 11 saves. The lacrosse team travels to Niskayuna on 5/12 for their next game.

The tennis team took on Shenendehowa on 5/3, where they fell 9-0. The boys lost 9-0 against Bethlehem on 5/5. The boys faced Guilderland on 5/6 to end the week, where they fell 8-1. Cavan Hicks picked up the Warrior’s lone win. 

The track teams took on Albany in their meet on 5/4. The girls track team defeated Albany 118-53. The boys team fell 89-88. The track teams will travel to Shenendehowa for their next meet on 5/13.
