Sand Lake Ambulance Finishing Up It’s 2023 Fund Drive

Sand Lake Ambulance (SLA), is finishing up its 2023 Annual Fund Drive in the Town of Sand Lake.  SLA is close to reaching its ambitious goal but it needs your help to go over the top.  Some second mailers may cross in the mail with any first round mailers sent back in recently, sorry if that happens, we can’t do much about that.

It has certainly been a challenging time but we are still here although things like Covid have made it difficult to stay open.  Inflation is tough on everyone and that includes us. As you can imagine filling an Ambulance with gas is getting brutal and the prices on all our other equipment and maintenance fees are skyrocketing too.

Remember, it is your generous support, which is greatly appreciated, that goes a long way toward keeping this service available in the town.

Two Receive Citizenship Award at St. Jude’s the Apostle Graduation

It was an honor for Town Supervisor Joseph Bott and Deputy Town Supervisor Kelly Hoffman to be invited to present Citizenship Awards to Sienna Adams and Brycen Waters for the great work and recognition by their teachers and peers. Both students were very excited and surprised to receive their awards. What a beautiful evening to watch the children move on to the next part of their learning journey. Congratulations to the Class of 2023.

Writing Workshop at Laughing Earth Farm

Come to Laughing Earth Farm in Cropseyville on Thursday, July 20th from 6 to 8pm for an evening of inspiration, conversation, and the generation of words in the air and on the page.

There will be opportunities to share our writing, if desired. Bring a notebook, something to write with, and a chair if you have one.

If it rains, we will have a protected space to write. Suggested donation $15 (everyone welcome regardless of ability to donate!). Facilitated by Cara Benson.
