Crew 2528 Adopts a Family for the Holidays

POESTENKILL – Thank you to Boy Scout Venture Crew 2528 of Poestenkill, NY who adopted a local family of six for this past holiday season. The Crew worked with the Averill Park Kiwanis to select a family in need. Once they received the genders, sizes and ages of the individual family members, the Crew used their own funds to shop for items they thought this family would need and also some items they thought they would love. Members of the Crew were fortunate enough to have been invited to deliver the gifts to the family themselves. They got to see the excited faces of this thankful family as they enjoyed the gifts. Thank you Crew 2528. We are fortunate you are part of our community.
