Local Veterans Honored at St. Jude the Apostle

Rev. Anthony Ligato, Pastor, is pleased to once again invite the greater community to St. Jude the Apostle Church, located at 43 Brookside Avenue, Wynantskill, for the purpose of remembering and honoring ALL Veterans in the greater community, both living and deceased at the Saturday, November 10th, 9:00 a.m. Mass.

Veterans will be taking part in a procession and in various parts of the Mass proper. Father Edward Deimeke will also preside. A list of Veterans being remembered in the Mass will be distributed along with the program. At the conclusion of Mass, all will proceed to the flag pole in front of St. Jude the Apostle School for a special ceremony that will include a solemn flag hoisting, a short prayer, and the playing of taps by American Legion Post #1489. The public is encouraged to attend as a sign of support for all Veterans. Refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony in the new St. Jude the Apostle Parish Center.
