From the Desk of Janice Hannigan Kerwin, North Greenbush Town Clerk
NORTH GREENBUSH – We are collecting new or homemade scarves, hats, gloves and mittens to give to those in need this winter. Please stop by the North Greenbush Town Hall located at 2 Douglas Street Wynantskill, New York and place your donations on our Christmas Giving Tree located in the Town Clerk’s Office. The closest entrance for the Town Clerk’s office when dropping off your donation would be the entrance by the Gazebo in our back parking lot. Please help us keep someone a little warmer this winter by donating to our Christmas tree. If you should have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call my office at 518-283-4306, Monday – Friday, 8-4 and we would be happy to assist you in any way that we can.

County Legislators Sponsor Adopt-A-Senior Holiday Gift Program
RENSSELAER COUNTY – Vice Chair of the Legislature Kelly Hoffman and Legislator Rob Bayly selected wish tags from the Christmas tree in the lobby of the Legislature Majority Offices.
The Legislature teamed up with the Rensselaer County department of Aging to “adopt” seniors that could use a few extra items to brighten up their holidays. Requests include, socks, blankets, puzzle books, and hygiene products.
Everyone is welcome to stop by the Majority Office on the 3rd floor of the County Office Building and select a tag or two. All gifts that are purchased for the seniors should be gift wrapped, with the wish tag attached, and returned to Department of Aging or the Legislature by Friday, December 16th.
Thanks to everyone for helping us brighten the holidays for our Rensselaer County seniors.
