RENSSELAER – Happy Father’s Day to all the father figures in our lives. We invite you to celebrate with us on Sunday. Services are 8:00 and 9:30. Guidelines from the diocese include using hand sanitizer and wearing face masks which cover both the nose and the mouth. These items are available at the church. The church is marked for 6 ft. social distancing. Hugs and handshakes are not allowed. Communion will be offered only by host.
Coffee hour is suspended until further notice.
The Church of the Redeemer is located in Rensselaer at the corner of Third and Catherine Streets.
Bible Study is currently suspended.

Drive-in Worship Services
CENTER BRUNSWICK – Drive-in worship services will be held at Gilead Lutheran Church, 308 Brick Church Road (Route 7 and 278) in Center Brunswick, Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Social distancing guidelines will be followed as we hold these services in our parking lot. We will ask that all vehicles park six feet from an adjacent vehicle. A chair can be used as long as the six feet distance is kept. Lutheran Books of Worship will be loaned to each person to keep as we continue these services and communion will be administered using self-contained, disposable juice cups with the host. The service will be conducted through a low band radio transmitter. The service will also be available on line through Facebook and YouTube – available through our web site, www.gileadlutheran.org. We welcome you to join as we take the opportunity to wave to our friends, neighbors and visitors and praise God in this beautiful outdoor sanctuary.
Presbyterian United Church Yard Sale
SCHAGHTICOKE – The Presbyterian United Church is holding a Yard Sale in the church parking lot at 165 Main St. in Schaghticoke on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 9 am to 2 pm. All proceeds will benefit the ongoing renovation of the church kitchen. Masks and social distancing is expected and will be appreciated.
Presbyterian United Church Auction
SCHAGHTICOKE – The Presbyterian United Church at 165 Main St. in Schaghticoke will be holding an Auction of many baskets filled with a variety of wonderful items from July 6, 2020 to July 11, 2020. All baskets and items may be viewed on the church’s Facebook page beginning July 6th through the end of the auction on Saturday, July 11th. On July 10th at 6 pm, a review and description of the items will take place and the auction will open for bidding, all on the church’s Facebook page. On July 11th, an update with regard to the bidding will be reviewed, one update is planned during the morning hours and one in the afternoon; successful bidders will be notified after the 3 pm closing of the auction. All proceeds from this auction will benefit the renovation/installation of a church kitchen which, upon completion, will also be available for community use. For those who would like to donate baskets, please note that items must be received by June 30th.
Brunswick Cares Food Pantry Services
TROY – Brunswick Cares Food Pantry will continue to operate Tuesday 5-7pm and Saturday 9-11am with a ‘drive-up’ pre-packaged service. Social distancing rules apply:
1. Stay in car if another guest is at the door
2. Please only come to the bottom of the steps and maintain at least 6 feet and we will take your order
3. Please wait in your car and we will bring your order to you.
