Sand Lake Area Association of Churchs Friday Lenten Worship & Lunch Schedule

SAND LAKE – The Stations of the Cross will be our weekly services as a focal point at Noon.   All services are at 12:00 pm noon, with  lunch to follow, and are held at Church of the Covenant U.M., 3055 NY 43, Averill Park, NY 12018.  Lunch will be provided for a suggested $5 donation going to Conserns-U.

Church of the Redeemer

RENSSELAER – Sunday services are at 8:00 and 9:30. Father Haskell is back and we are delighted to again be celebrating with him. Coffee hour will be in the Hearth Room between and after services.

Bible Study is on Wednesday evening at 6:00. With the return to DST, we welcome the return of those who don’t drive in the dark. Come at 5:30 to share pizza and salad.

Hot Mess Crafters meets on Wednesday morning at 10:00. We have new denotations of yarn and patterns plus fleece squares and a sewing machine so we can now fashion blankets and pillows. These donations encourage us to try techniques we have not done before. Thank you. We look forward to having new members and hope you will join us.

Our Annual Meeting is scheduled for March 22.

RENSSELAER –  The Church of the Redeemer Thrift Shop has earned an excellent reputation by offering quality merchandise at bargain prices including clothing for all ages and sizes, baby equipment, games, puzzles, jewelry, collectibles, wall decor, Easter baskets and decorations, prom gowns and accessories, CDs,DVDs, record albums and more! The shop will be open on Thursday March 12th from 3 to 6 and on Saturday March 14th from 9 to 2, weather permitting. Healing Arts Retreat

Holy Week at Third Presbyterian Church

Thursday Worship Gives You Options

TROY – Are you missing church because your Sunday is filled with sports activities, or you have to work? At Brunswick Church, our worship week starts on Thursday. We have worship at 7pm on Thursday each week for folks just like you. We also worship twice on Sunday, at 8:30am and 11am. We would love for you to join us at any one of these services. Living With Cancer

TROY – If you are affected in any way by cancer, yourself, as a caretaker or having suffered a loss, you are welcome to join us for our Living With Cancer Group at Brunswick Church. Hosted by Pastor Ted Wright, the group meets the first Friday of each month in the Lobby outside our Old Sanctuary on 42 White Church Lane, Troy NY 12180.
