Kailey’s Course Golf Tournament
14 year old Kailey Paul was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. As you can imagine this has taken a toll on Kailey and her family both emotionally and financially. All the money raised will go towards the expense for the the family’s stay in NYC and offset the cost of medical bills while she is going through radiation and chemotherapy.

Tuesday Treks
12:30pm – 2:30pm Every Tuesday
Join Len Tremblay on a moderately paced 3 mile hike every Tuesday in October to explore the wilds of Dyken Pond Center. Each week we’ll discover new ground and nature. Hikes will be cancelled in bad weather. Pre-registration required. This program is for adults and older teens.
Muddy Boots Trail Crew
9:30am – noon October 17 and 31
Join our newly formed trail crew to clear trains, enjoy the outdoors and meet new friends. We’ll be meeting twice per month to do light trail work to keep Dyken Pond’s 11 miles of trails in good shape through the year. Come often or when you can. Option to bring your lunch and have a cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa when we’re finished.
Firewood Gathering Volunteer Day
Saturday, October 22: 9am – noon
An annual event to help the Center cut, gather, haul, split, and stack enough firewood to last the winter. We’ll treat all hardy volunteers to a free lunch for your efforts. Please pre-register by Thursday, October 20 so we can plan enough food for everyone.
Staying on Track
Saturday, October 29: 1pm – 2:30pm
This beginner navigation class will build your skills using a compass and trail map and cover methods of finding your way when you are without traditional tools. Feel more comfortable hiking in the woods and exploring new areas. Know what you would do if you ever find yourself confused in the forest. For families and youth aged 10 and up. Preregistration required. $5 per participant.
