Still Say No to Party Barn on Barnes

I am writing to express my dismay, and anger, that our town planning board would even consider appealing the Supreme Court decision regarding the special use permit for a party barn at 204 Barnes Road. Why are you using resident tax dollars for this kind of appeal? I could think of a few better uses of that money: the town library could use the financial support; the town could support two-a-year document shredding days; a yearly brush pick-up day would be very helpful. But no, our town wants to appeal a special use permit.

I believe that someone in addition to the property owner is planning on profiting from this venture and is not willing to let it go. It is past time to follow the money. And be sure to vote in November.
