Sycaway Seniors

On June 6th we had our annual picnic at the Brunswick Community Center on Keys Lane. DJ-singer Bob Trifaletti had our members singing and dancing on the floor. We had a wonderful day of great food, friendship and much laughter. We had visitors from R.O.U.S.E., and all our members chipped in making delicious food. Many thanks to all those who helped with set up and clean up. We thank the Brunswick Town for providing the Keyse Lane building for us to have a safe place to meet, and for their financial contributions.

We meet twice a month, and our next meeting will be on June 27th at the Keys Lane building at 12:00. Or guest speaker will be Supervisor Phil Herrington and there will be a time for questions by all present.

We will not be meeting during July and August but will resume our meetings on September 12 with our yearly banquet. This will be at the Frear Park Pub on Lavin Court at noon for a turkey dinner. Donnie Romaine (Elvis) will be our entertainment. Members must make reservations with Pres. Nancy McCloskey 518-279-0847. Membership renewal will be due at that time.
