News from Averill Park CSD

French teacher Mr. Jeff Brown was interviewed by the French C8 television network for their DirectAuto program. Most of the interview took place inside Mr. Brown’s 1986 Citroen ambulance as they drove through Manhattan. This is a great example of how our staff members are passionate about the subjects they are teaching!

The new Grab-and-Go Breakfast Cart is up and running in the high school. We know that our students can be busy throughout the day and we are doing everything we can to make sure they start off on the right foot with a variety of nutritious options to choose from.

Recently our high school cafeteria received a makeover, offering flexible seating to students during lunch. The area will also serve as a student union throughout the day and the new configuration will make the space usable in a number of other capacities.

As always, for the latest news from the District, please visit our website – averillpark.k12.ny.us. You can also follow AP on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
