Glendora Vegeterian Club

Thanksgiving is over. Glendora says, Oh no it isn’t! I will continue to give thanks 40 times every waking hour. How can I do that?  Let me show you. I give thanks for: no war in our country, the USA, US mail, social security, Medicaid, Medicare, sunshine, snow, summer, flowers, stores, cars, schools, libraries, every word that is tender and mild, eyesight, hearing, touch, taste, olfactory sense, health, careers, jobs, social media, computers, dogs, cats, enough food on this planet to feed 8 1/2 billion of us, reading, writing, arithmetic, encyclopedias, music, melody, rhythm, love, the world’s perpetuity, rain, mystic harmony.

Glendora’s prayer today is, “I want myself and everybody I know to be our best.

Campbell Soup has gone vegan. They now have a plant based chicken soup. See A Chat with Glendora on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. We are on show 14,163. What can we do for you?

 Jokes

1. Under the Republicans you cannot earn your keep. Under the Democrats you cannot keep what you earn.

2. Pat Gulino  was on a cruise way out in the Caribbean, and he was at the dinner table with new friends. They asked, “Where do you work?” He said, “Cablevision.”  They asked what he did there. He said he was in Public Access TV. They asked what was Public Access TV. One of the diners answered, “It’s that woman with the hat and gloves.”

3. The ship’s passenger was asked how she liked her cabin. She said it was good except for the washing machine on the wall. Another woman told her it was not a washing machine; it was a port hole. The first woman said, “Well, no wonder my clothes didn’t come back.”

4. A little boy down in Texas was at the end of his driveway trying to find homes for his puppies. George Bush came by and asked what kind of puppies they were. The little boy said, “Dey’s Republicans.” George Bush went away ecstatic. The next week he came by again and said “I want to hear again what kind of puppies they are.” The little boy said, “Dey’s Democrats.” George Bush said, “What? Last week you said they were Republicans.” The boy said, “Dis week they got their eyes open.”
