Glendora Vegan Club

My friend wrote this article for you…

When I first heard that Burger King had a vegan Burger, I was happy and sad. Happy for the vegan part, sad that in order to get it I had to support a company that was part of the abuse of cows and chickens in a major way. At first I decided to not buy them, but someone told me that If vegans did not support it, they would not continue and an opportunity to expose the general public to anything vegan would be lost. The funny thing was, my impossible whopper had real mayonnaise on it.

Their vegan offering had to be modified. Which I did.

So when I heard Taco Bell was about to roll out a vegan dipping cheese sauce for their Nacho Fries, I quickly searched to see the ingredients. Not for the cheese sauce, but for the fries themselves. And it turns out they are vegan too. So, I will be trying them as soon as they become available.

The more companies that have vegan options, the better. More people can see there are choices they can make and still enjoy fast food.
