Gilead Lutheran Church’s Annual Chicken Barbeque
It is really not too soon to start thinking of our Chicken Barbeque. This will be on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 4-6 pm. This is a big event for our church and Brunswick. Every year we seem to sell out and people get left without a meal or going somewhere else to eat. Our menu, (in case you forgot) is ½ a BQ chicken, baked potato, corn on the cob, coleslaw, roll, and cookies for dessert.
All of this for the small amount of $15.00. Call Jen for reservations at 518-248-1295.

Delicious and nutritious, Oatmilk is attracting many more fans, as it should. Many new flavors are hopping onto the market. Oats are a reliable source of protein. An animal as big as a horse can live on oats almost singularly. The senior citizen said, “Instead of feeling my oats, I’ve been feeling my corns.”
It is big news that more plant-based foods are being offered in supermarkets, and the major fast-food chains are featuring more and more plant-based options. A new cheese product on the market is Violife Mediterranean style Grill Me! Cheese. Another one is Miyoko’s Liquid Vegan Pizza, mozzarella flavored. What is this about DUG potato milk? Stay tuned.
