Glendora Vegan Club

One of the founders of the Seventh Day Adventist Church is Ellen White. She instilled in her followers “Be vegetarian.” What were her reasons?

1. In the first chapter of Genesis, verse19, God says categorically that we are to eat herbs and plants only.

2. Ellen White knew human beings are not meat eaters; we are herbivores.

3. Cruelty to animals is beyond bearing. (Glendora says unequivocally that she doesn’t see how you can make it with God unless you are vegan.)

The American Vegan Society stacks accolades on the Seventh Day Adventist Church for their enlightened lifestyle,

In the Summer 2023 issue of American Vegan Magazine, you will learn that”Dr. Mervyn Hardinge observed that deserts have been created by overgrazing of animals and that, compared to vegetable foods, milk returns only 15% of the nourishment, eggs only 7% and beef only 4%.

Jokes

1. It was during half time at a basketball game, and the referee saw a woman in the bleachers being carried out on a stretcher. He said to the coach, “Hearth attack?” The coach said, “No, you called one right for a change, and she fainted.”

2. A man called the airlines and asked to make a reservation to Mishawaka, ID. The clerk asked how to spell Mishawaka. The man said, “Never mind. South Bend is close enough.”

3. The high school coach said to the math teacher, You have to pass my star player, or we will lose the tournament.” The math teacher said, “But he said 7×5=33.” The coach said, “So he missed it by 1.”

4. Hey, Daddy, what is “college bread”? It is a four-year loaf made out of the old man’s dough.
