Chicken Barbecue at the Pittstown United Methodist Church Hall in the village of Pittstown, NY Route 7 on Saturday, July 22 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. 

Take Out Only. Menu: 1/2 chicken, macaroni salad, cole slaw, baked beans, roll, homemade pies. Price: adults $14.00, children 5-12 $7.00, children under 5 free. For reservations call: Bev at 518-663-5607.

July 30th, Rt. #2, Eagle Mills. Luncheon from 1:00-3:00, clam steam dinner at 5:00.

VFW Post 7338, East Greenbush, located at 100 Hayes Road, is available now to handle all of your family gatherings/activities, this Spring and Summer season, whether inside or outside! 

We can be your 1st choice for Weddings, Showers, Anniversaries, Parties, High School Graduations, Club Meetings, get-togethers for families and friends or a quiet place to have a Celebration of Life of a loved one that passed. We have a seating capacity for 125 people! We also have an Outdoor Pavilion which can accommodate any size party or gathering, along with a large outside Barbeque Pit! We offer reasonable rates and appreciate your business! As everyone knows we offer a Delicious Pancake Breakfast, usually on the 3rd Sunday of every month! (Please note that Sunday, June 18 will be our last Pancake Breakfast for the summer; we will resume in September!)

Glendora Vegan Club

Veganism is my way of living and I seek to exclude all forms of exploitation and cruelty to animals for food, clothing, and any other purposes. I only eat from the plant kingdom: vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains,nuts, and seeds. I express nonviolence towards animals and the Earth. I promote health practices and harmonious living. 

 Glendora adopted this from the American Vegan Society(AVS). “AVS founder H. Jay Dinshah(Dad)had vowed to work everyday until all the slaughterhouses are closed.”(“Hero in a Purple Plaid shirt in the AVS magazine.”)
