Save the Date! Roast Beef Dinner

Join us on Friday, January 11th, 4-7pm, at the Transfiguration Parish Hall

Hillview Drive, Speigletown.

We will be serving another delicious dinner at a reasonable price.   We offer a salad, roast beef, potato, a vegetable, roll and butter. Special “Christmas” Senior Dinner

On Friday, December 21st, the members of the Edward C. Swartz Senior Center are having their annual “Christmas” Special Dinner. It starts at 12noon with a meal consisting of Fresh Ham with Gravy, Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes, Peas & Onions, Dinner Roll and Chocolate Ice Cream. The popular group “Over the Hill Gang” will be providing some great Christmas Music that we join in and sing along. Following the music, we will have refreshments served by some of our senior volunteers to close out the afternoon. Boy Scout Troop 522 invites you to “Breakfast with Santa”!
Join us Saturday, December 15th, 8:30 – 11am. Enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausages and all the trimmings! Visit with Santa. All children receive a free treat! The festivities will take place at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in East Schodack; Adults $7; Children 5-12 $5; Children under 5 eat free. Directions: From I-90 take Exit 11E ramp onto Rts. 9 & 20 heading east. Continue for about .1 mile and take left at light onto Rt. 150. Travel approx. 2.3 miles to where Rt. 150 splits, bear right onto County Rt. 7, St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church is about 100 yards on right.

Tsatsawassa Fire Co. Monthly Breakfast

The Tsatsawassa Protective Fire Company will service their monthly breakfast on Sunday, December 16, from 8AM until 11:30AM.   Breakfast consists of your choice of French toast or pancakes, as well as bacon or sausage, toast, orange juice, applesauce, beverages and eggs prepared to your specifications for a cost of $7. for adults, $4. for ages 5 – 12 with children under five being served free.

The Schodack Valley Volunteer Fire Company is having their monthly pizza and wing night Saturday, December 15th, at our firehouse. We are located at 1553 Schodack Valley Rd., Castleton. The Hoags Corners Volunteer Ambulance will be having Pizza Night on December 21st from 5pm-8pm. Toppings include pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, peppers, onions and black olives.
