Glendora Vegetarian Club

When all is said and done, the only thing that really matters is how you treat others. Animals are also “others.” Treat them as you would like to be treated. – What are your blessings? Are your blessings not the universe and the fact that you were born alive and healthy? Guard these precious blessings carefully. Go vegan!

A reminder from “Vegetarian Starter Guide”: “The animals we eat are individuals capable of experiencing pleasure, fear and pain. Think about dogs or cats you’ve come to know. They can feel sorrow, joy, terror and other emotions. So can animals we don’t know so we’ll, like chickens, cows or pigs. All of these animals, whether chicken or cat, pig or puppy, experience a wide range of emotions and value their lives.”

Red Robin Song, a bed and breakfast establishment and animal sanctuary, is having a vegan potluck on Thanksgiving Day. Those who attend will not be terrorizing and murdering innocent turkeys.

Glendora will be offering her own Thanksgiving dinner on November 27th at 6 p.m. at 45A Elm St. in the Village of Nassau. The menu will feature breaded “chik” patties, dressing, squash, turnips, peas, mashed potatoes, whole cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.
