Emmanuel Reformed Church Roast Pork Dinner Nov 23
The Emmanuel Reformed Church in Castleton is once again having its Roast Pork Dinner on November 23 with servings at 4:30 & 6:00 p.m. The menu will include pork loin, butternut squash, green beans, potatoes, apple sauce, dessert and coffee or tea all for only $13 per adult, $5 children 6-12 and free for children under 6. Free! Advent Wreaths & Christmas Cookies
Come! Join us November 23 from 1-3PM for some traditional Holiday fun. All ages are welcome. Learn about the traditional Advent wreath, and make one for your family. Come and decorate some Christmas Cookies and learn the stories about the shapes, so you can share them for your Thanksgiving Festivities. This event is free to attend. Thanksgiving Dinner at Pawling Avenue United Methodist Church
The Pawling Avenue United Methodist Church will host a family style sit down dinner on Thanksgiving Day, November 28th. Dinner will be served at 2 PM in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
If you do not want to cook, have no one to cook for, or if you just want some company and homemade pie, please come to the Pawling Avenue Methodist Church for dinner. All the favorites will be served – turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, squash, homemade pies and more.

We provide God’s message, in a traditional liturgical setting, each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Gilead provides a free community dinner and food pantry the third Thursday of the month (through December to avoid holidays) – next day November 21st – and a “Journeys through Time” covered dish dinner and program every other month with free-will donations going to local charities and other outreach programs during the year. Vendor Fair at Cornerstone Community Church in Lansingburgh
Saturday, November 30 there will be a Vendor Fair at Cornerstone Community Church, 570 Third Avenue (corner of 115th St) in Lansingburgh.
There will be local businesses including craft items, bakery items, Pampered Chef and Rada. There is also a large selection of Department 56
collectibles on hand. Hours of sale are from 10AM to 1PM. Tables are still available. To reserve yours contact Jill at 518-330-8288. Lunch will be available from 11:30 to 1PM and the church’s thrift shop will also be open from 9AM to 1PM.

Christmas Bazaar at Church of the Covenant UM
The Church of the Covenant UM in Averill Park will host its annual Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 7. Come visit the more than a dozen handcraft, gift and food shops designed for all your holiday shopping. You will find plenty of holiday-themed items as well as year-round gifts and decor. On the main level, visit The Doll Boutique with handmade American Girl clothing, the Pet Corner, Collectibles, the Country Store, Handcrafts & Decorations, Holiday Greenery and Religious Items. Be sure to stop by the COC Cafe, specializing in chili, mac and cheese, sausage and peppers, assorted soups and other home-cooked foods. Satisfy your sweet tooth with goodies from the Sweet Shoppe. Downstairs will be “Yuletide for Youth.” There children may decorate cookies, shop in the Kids Only store, play games and make crafts. Annual Christmas Bazaar
The Reformed Dutch Church of Schodack at Muitzeskill will be holding its annual Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, December 7th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Church is located at the intersection of Schodack Landing Road & Muitzeskill Road, in Schodack Landing. The Christmas Bazaar will include new and gently used Christmas decorations, cards, gifts, and books, as well as a Luncheon Cafe and a Bake Sale.
