Celebrate Labor Day Sunday September 1 with the folks at Salem United Methodist Church, West Sand Lake and Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church, Schodack at 9:30 A.M. at Salem UMC in West Sand Lake. Pastor Charlie Yang will share a message bringing scripture into today’s world. All are invited to the open communion table shared during the service.

Sundays in September – Early morning worship at 8:30am, regular worship service at 9:30am, Hawthorne Ridge worship service at 1pm. The first Sunday in the month, worship at Riverside. The fourth Tuesday in the month, worship at Rosewood.
September 5 (Th) – Sanctuary Choir Rehearsals resume for Fall (other music groups will begin Fall rehearsals next week)
September 6 – 8 (Fri-Sun) – Mission u at Silver Bay (this is an Upper New York Annual Conference event open to all, men and women, in the conference)
September 8 (Sun) – Rally Day, Sunday School resumes for the Fall at 9:30
Gilead Lutheran – Serving The Community
Summer services are at 9:30 a.m. through August. Please join us at Gilead Lutheran Church as we continue in our 277th year serving the community of Brunswick and surrounding communities with worship and outreach. Gilead is located on 308 Brick Church Road (Intersection of Route 278 and Route 7) in Center Brunswick. We invite you to join us as we continue our missions inside and outside the community and within our congregation. Future dates: August 30th – Pantry, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Also, stay tuned for: Sunday School classes begin monthly on September 8th and a chicken barbeque on September 7th, 4-6 p.m. (cooked by our own chefs.) St Jude the Apostle’s Fall Family Festival
Save the date – St. Jude the Apostle’s Annual Fall Family International Food Festival is being held Saturday September 28th from 11:30 am to 7 pm at 43 Brookside Avenue Wynantskill.
There will be live entertainment, food from around the globe, children’s games & activities, raffles, craft fair, outdoor bands, a haunted house and more!! Service, Crafting, & Bible Study
Summer is winding down and Labor Day weekend will be the last Sunday this season at Church Of The Redeemer for one service only at 9:00 followed by coffee hour in the Hearth Room.
Join us on Wednesday at 10:00 for Crafting. We are currently making hats on looms of various sizes which is a quick and easy project.
Wednesday evening, Bible Study continues with Ray Vander’s travels to learn Jewish history. Come at 5:30 to share pizza and to socialize. Bible Study begins at 6:00
