Who Is God?

Church of the Redeemer BIBLE STUDY continues at 6:00 on Wednesday with a fiery showdown with the prophets of Baal when Elijah confronted Israel with the choice of whom to serve. Travel with Ray Vander Laan to Mount Carmel as we study the challenge we face with this same question. Pizza is available at 5:30.

Service on Sunday is at 9:00 followed by coffee hour in the Hearth Room.

CRAFTING continues on Wednesday at 10:00. Join us for making items for family, loved ones, and those in need. We crochet, knit, and do other hand crafts.

The Church of the Redeemer is located on CDTA bus route #214 at the corner of Third and Catherine Streets. There is handicap parking, a ramp in front, and a parking lot in the rear. Email RedeemerRensselaer@nullgmail.com or call 518-650-8181. Our website is www.RedeemerRensselaer.com

Vacation bible school at Hope Lutheran – Who is my Neighbor?

July 29 – Aug 2 from 8:30am – 1:00pm

Believing that service to one’s neighbor should be a priority for every person of faith, the theme of this summer’s VBS at Hope will help children to understand that we may serve and benefit others in everything we do! The parable of the Good Samaritan will set the theme and help us determine who our “neighbor” really is! We’ll visit neighbors in six parts of the globe over our five days together. There will be singing, crafts, games, a simulation station where children will have hands-on experiences, skits, storytime, and snacks! Hope Lutheran is located at the corner of Blooming Grove Drive and Winter St in Defreestville. Call Marilyn at 518-326-5276 and leave your name and email for a registration form. Check out Hope at hopelc.org. Hope your kids will join us! There is no charge for Vacation Bible School at Hope!
