Glendora Vegeterian Club

What is your regimen of saintly eating? Last week we told you what we have for a vegan breakfast.  This week we will tell you what we have for vegan dinners. Monday: beans and rice; Tuesday: clove casserole (tomato soup, cut green beans, vegan hamburger, 1/2 tsp. cloves – all topped with mashed potatoes and “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter”); Wednesday: vegan pizza; Thursday: mashed potatoes, green peas, vegan chopped meat and croutons; Friday: Campbell’s plant based Chicken & Rice on dark rye toast with grape jelly on the side. Every day we have a green salad with dinner. For supper we have soup and rye crackers or bread or rolls. What do we do for sweets? All that are not vegan.

Yes.

Did you wash your ears?

Yes, the one next to her.

He sat down to order, but the head waiter said, “Aren’t you a rope?” The rope answered, “I’m a frayed knot.”

3. Bob and Pete were very close friends and avid baseball fans. They made a pact that the first one who got to heaven would come back and tell the other one if there was baseball in heaven. Bob went first and came back and said, “Pete! Pete! There is baseball in heaven. Pete said, “Hallelujah!” Bob said, “You’re pitching Friday night!”
