Glendora Vegeterian Club

A mother cat had 3 babies in my friend’s barn. A fox entered the barn with the intent to eat the babies. My friend got there in time to rescue the babies by putting them in a trap. She set a trap for the mother cat, but by midnight the mother had not come. By 2 am the mother had not come, and by 4 am the mother had not come. However by 6 am the mother was in the trap. My friend diligently saw to it that mother cat and kittens were safe inside her home.

For weeks the 4 of them lived happily and safely. Then it was time for then to have their operations. Together friend and Glendora, who abhors this kind of interference but has learned it is the only way a cat can have a people home, had all 4 neutered/spayed. We thought we had taken the daughter to a home that would be ideal, but it turned out not to be, so we brought her back to my friend’s home. The story ends with telling you how jubilant the daughter cat was to see her brothers again and how ecstatic the brothers were to see their sister again.

Jokes

1. The teacher was asked what are the 3 things she likes best about being a teacher. She said: developing young minds, encouraging Americanism and modeling kindness to animals. Another teacher was asked what are the 3 things he likes best about being a teacher. He said: June, July and August.

2. What did one snowman say to another? “Have you seen our friend Herb around lately?” The other snowman answered, “No, not since he left for Florida.”

Glendora’s Thanksgiving dinner: veggie roast, mashed potatoes, vegan gravy, dressing, peas, squash, cranberry sauce and vegan pumpkin pie. She will be celebrating on November 15th.
