Glendora Vegetarian Club

How old is Glendora Vegetarian Club? 8 years old. We have spent $33,000, gathered for 1000 hours and produced 800 pages of records. Does that include the vegan commercials to help the animals broadcast during the 6:30 p.m. news on CBS Channel 6? No, that cost another $56,000. What number program are you on with A Chat with Glendora on cable TV? 12,205! The Glendora Public Access Television Network has 75 TV stations from Boston to San Diego. Ours is the longest running of the access TV shows (and still going) in the world. How long has it been running? 49 years, almost half a century. Why is it the most important public access TV show? The answer is because of its message: When all is said and done, the only thing that really matters is how you treated others.

Jokes

1. Under the Republicans, you can’t earn your keep; under the Democrats, you can’t keep what you earn.

2. What do you call fake spaghetti? The Great Impasta!

3. The TV show A Chat with Glendora always has a happy ending. Everybody is glad when it’s over.

4. The mother said, “Are you sure this toy is not too complicated for a child?”

The salesman said, “No, this toy is designed to adjust the child to today’s world. No matter how he puts it back together, it is wrong.”

5. You can always count on your undertaker. He is the last person in the world to let you down.
