Glendora Vegetarian Club

In the magazine American Vegan, Jannai Shivakumar writes about young vegans: “As information becomes increasingly available to the public, one group in particular is taking advantage of resources and advocating for a more ethical and sustainable society. It is no surprise that worldwide youth have always been at the forefront of the vegan movement … as they continue to question the traditional ideals of society. When youth have advocated for veganism, Thanksgiving tables and Christmas dinners have seen animal products being replaced with delicious vegan foods than can be quite the conversation starter.” Shivakumar further points out that “social media has played a crucial role in broadening teenage minds toward related controversial topics. Undercover footage of dairy, egg and meat farms are undeniably a main driving force behind the transformation of young minds.”

Glendora says, “Because of the virus epidemic that started with eating animals, it is now more important than ever to be vegan – no animal products! How many more millions of friends and loved ones have to die before all of us learn to go plant based?”

Joke of the Day

Adam is talking to God: Why did you make Eve?

God: I thought you were lonesome.

Adam: Why did you make her so beautiful?

God: So you would like her.

Adam: Why did you make her so dumb?

God: So she would like you.
