Drive Thru only Lobster Dinner
Salem United Methodist Church hosts its Drive Thru only Lobster Dinner, Thursday, August 15, 2019. Menu includes Garden Tossed Salad, Whole Lobster with Baked Potato and Corn, Cake for dessert. Dinner is from 4:30pm-6:00pm. Cost is $20.00 per person. Advanced reservations are required for this dinner and must be in no later than Tuesday, August 13. Hoags Corners Ambulance Pizza Night
The Hoags Corners Volunteer Ambulance will be having Pizza Night on August 16th from 5pm-8pm. With our ALL NEW PIZZA OVEN, there will be less of a wait time !! Toppings include pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, peppers, onions and black olives. We are now able to offer FREE delivery within the Ambulance District. BBQ Chicken Dinner Fundraiser For Make-A-Wish NENY
The 8th Annual Bobbie Arsenault Memorial Event & Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday, August 17th from 11am – 4pm at Butler Park, Gettle Rd. in Averill Park rain or shine. Dinners will be served between 2:30 – 4:00 pm and can be eat-in or take-out. Cost of the BBQ dinner is $12. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County will present the program “Great Tomato Tasting” on Tuesday, August 20, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. What’s your favorite tomato? Come find out by tasting a wide variety of delicious tomatoes grown by Master Gardeners. We’ll have some old favorites as well as some new top picks. We’ll also talk about tomato growing challenges, so bring us your tired, your diseased, your dead specimens, yearning to be compost.
This program is FREE to the public and will be held outdoors at the Demonstration Garden at the Robert C. Parker School, 4254 Route 43, North Greenbush. Rain or inclement weather at the start of the program may cancel it. Limited seating provided; bring your own lawn chair. Annual Lobster Or Steak Bake
East Greenbush, NY — Van Rensselaer Star Chapter #256, Order of the Eastern Star and Van Rensselaer Lodge #87, F&AM, in East Greenbush are holding their annual Lobster or Steak Bake on Saturday, August 24th from 4 – 6 p.m. You may eat in or take out. The cost is $25 and reservations with money are required and binding. The menu includes: lobster or steak, baked potato, corn-on-the-cob, coleslaw, dessert and beverage.
