Glendora Vegetarian Club

In the latest filming of the Glendora Vegetarian Club broadcast, Glendora and Cassie read from a book titled Powerful Vegan Messages by Jay Dinshaw the founder of the American Vegan Society. Specifically, a passage written by Jay about the Sanskirt word for nonkilling, noninjuring and nonharming: Ahimsa. The meaning is remembered and built on each letter of the word where A is abstinence from animal products, H is Harmlessness with reverence for life, Integrity of thought word and deed, Mastery over oneself, Service to humanity nature and creation, and the final A for Advancement of understanding and truth. Ahimsa. The Vegetarian Club Meets every last Wednesday of every month, 6pm, at 45 Elm Street Nassau Village. Bring a potluck! No animal products! A man had a pet centipede. At noon, he went to the centipede’s box and invited him to go to lunch with him. There was no answer. At 1pm, the man invited him again. There was silence again. At 2pm, the man said, ‘hurry up! I’m hungry!’ The centipede said, ‘I heard you the first time; I’m putting on my shoes.’ Go Vegan Everybody! Call Glendora 518.610.5810.
