Saturday, January 26 7:00 PM—10:00 PM, Church of the Covenant UM (The Round Church), in the center of Averill Park.
Featuring a variety of Local Talent! A FREE WILL offering will be collected and Refreshments will be available!
On January 2, 2019, the Schroon Lake Community Church and its parsonage were completely destroyed by fire. Join us to support the Church congregation and Pastor Cole, who lost everything in the fire, by helping to cover expenses resulting from this devastating loss.

Annual Meeting Rescheduled at Church of The Redeemer
Because of last week’s weather event, the Annual Meeting has been rescheduled for February 3. On Sunday, January 27, Father John Scott will conduct services at 8:00 and 9:30. Services will be followed by coffee hour in the Hearth Room.
CRAFTING continues on Wednesday at 10:00. Come to share your talents and/or learn something new.
The Church of the Redeemer is located on CDTA bus route #214 at the corner of Third and Catherine Streets. There is handicapped parking in front and a ramp to facilitate access to the building. We also have a parking lot in the rear, off Catherine Street.

St. Michael’s, Troy, Hosts “A Calling”
On February 9, 2019 at 6:30 pm (following 5:15 pm Mass), St. Michael the Archangel, 175 Williams Road, Troy will host “A Calling.” Produced locally and screened across the country “A Calling” focuses on the occurrences that brought a nun, into the leadership of a small parish in upstate NY (Altamont). “A Calling” chronicles the personal story of Sister Liptak and several others whose calling took them to places they perhaps could not have imagined when they uttered their first “yes.” JOIN US FOR THE SCREENING, CONVERSATION AND REFRESHMENTS! A free will offering is welcome. All proceeds will go to START Children’s Center of Rensselaer County which provides services that reduce the trauma children endure due to being a victim of abuse or a witness to violence.
