“The Servant of Two Masters” is a modern adaptation of a commedia dell’arte classic about a troupe of wildly self-obsessed actors up against hard economic times.

Student members of the cast and crew include the following:

Rebecca Ehrlich of Castleton on Hudson (12033)

Battenkill Chorale Performs: New American Songs of Nature and Praise

CAMBRIDGE, NY—The Battenkill Chorale continues its 24th season with Te Deum: New American Songs of Nature and Praise. The concert will be performed on Saturday, April 27 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, April 28 at 4:00 PM at the Cambridge United Presbyterian Church at 81 East Main St. in Cambridge, NY.

The theme of natural beauty in this program is a perfect antidote to fear in our unsettled times. This program celebrates the music of Dan Forrest, whose monumental Requiem for the Living was performed by the Chorale in 2017. Forrest is at the forefront of a Renaissance in American choral music, which combines Christian liturgical music with the complexities of concert music to create a hybrid sacred music, suitable for the gamut of amateur, community, and professional choirs. Young choral superstar Jake Runestad and veteran choir director and choral composer Donald McCullough are also featured in shorter works.

Guest Conductor, Noah Palmer, takes to the podium following the retirement of Artistic Director, Janet McGhee. Palmer, conductor and pianist, is one of the Capital Region’s most in demand collaborators.

$20 tickets can be purchased in advance by calling (518) 692-7458 or emailing battenkilltickets@nullgmail.com.
