Last Weekend to see Circle Theatre Players production of Becky’s New Car at SLCA
Kenni (Erica Pandolfo) obviously disapproves of her mother’s friend (Susan Dantz) chasing her father (Dan Smirlock) in Becky’s New Car.
Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Circle Theatre Players presents the final weekend performances of Becky’s New Car, written by Steven Dietz, with special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service Inc. A comedy about life and the roads we take through it. An escape from the endless politics, stock market decline, and other daily woes of modern life. It is a story, the perfect blend of funny moments and the conflict a woman faces when being pulled in two directions. It is about choices and consequence that could believably happen to anyone. Like Yogi Berra once suggested, a person coming to a fork in the road and taking it.
Final show dates are March 21, 22, 23 at 8pm; and March 24 at 2:30pm. Tickets are $18 for adults, $10 under the age of 18. For prepaid reservations, go to www.SLCA-CTP.org or call 518-674-2007. The center is handicapped accessible with plenty of free parking.

Her first all-original music album, “Step By Step,” made the 2017 Roots Music Report’s Top Americana Country Album Chart and garnered significant air time on independent radio in the U.S. and Europe. “Dreamers,” a song produced by Gordy Quist, won first place in the 2018 Woody Guthrie Folk Festival Songwriting Competition, held in July in Okemah, OK. Gibson also appeared at the famed Dripping Springs (Texas) Songwriters’ Festival in October 2018. Visit www.claudiagibson.com to hear Gibson’s award-winning music.
