A “6-6-6” Tournament was held on Wednesday, August, 7 for the Women’s Golf Association at Winding Brook. Two teamed netted a 67.

The team of Paula Sancomb and Mary Kay Longo tied for first place with the team of Karen Meyer and Pam Rybka.

Ken Morgan Memorial Clove Run

The Ken Morgan Memorial Clove Run, hosted by the Castleton Road Racing Commission and Castleton Kiwanis,” will be held this year on August 17, 2019.  There will be two races, a 5k walk/race and a 10 mile challenging course.  Both courses are USATF certified. There will also be a 1 mile family fun run.  Awards will be presented at the finish line, along with refreshments provided by local businesses.  Registration packets can be picked up that day starting at 7am at the Castleton Elementary School. All proceeds from The Clove Run benefits the local food pantry, the Anchor, which has been helping local families in need since 1989.  Last year, the donation to the Anchor exceeded $4500.

Averill Park Road Runners Registration

Averill Park Road Runners is now taking registrations for the 2018 Cross Country season. The club is open to anyone ages 7-14 who likes running, playing games & having fun! AP School District residency is NOT required. Practices, starting 9/9, are at the AP High School Monday & Thursday evenings (optional Saturday mornings). There will be several meets with other teams throughout the season, finishing with participation in the November Junior Olympics. Registration is available at; $75 early registration fee includes a uniform; $85 after 8/26 ($10 sibling discount). Current U.S. Track and Field Association membership ($20) IS REQUIRED for insurance coverage. Contact for registration assistance or questions.

We’re a parent-run organization and parental involvement is required. This is a great place for children to try something different, make new friends, get exercise and have fun! All abilities and skill levels are welcome. See you at the track!

All current health physical paperwork that is valid for the entire upcoming season (physicals are good for a period of 12 months) and any medication orders need to be submitted by August 5 th as well. Forms for both are available on the FamilyID site. Student-athletes should have their physical performed by their primary care provider. Greenbush Soccer Club- Fall Rec 2019

Registration is OPEN!

We offer the following divisions: Preschool (age 3 and 4), Kindergarten, 1st grade,2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th/5th grade, 6th/7th grade, 8th/9th grade.

Players living in the school district of East Greenbush, Schodack, and Rensselaer are welcome to join.

The season is 8 games playing Saturday’s September 7th 2019-October 26th 2019.

All players are required to wear shin guards.

Volunteers are needed for head coach and asst coach.

Town of East Greenbush Adult Bocce

Bocce players meet in Onderdonk Park on Hampton Avenue at 5:45 PM each Thursday evening throughout the Spring and Summer.

The group is currently seeking more players. This is not a competitive league and it is a lot of fun with great people! Stop by any Thursday to see what’s it all about.
