Attention Happy Hookers – You Ladies are Amazing
RENSSELAER COUNTY – On March 13th The Center was closed due to the Pandemic. Every year for the last 30 plus years The Community Service Group Warm Up America delivered Afghans, Lap Robes, Scarfs, Hats, Shawls and Booties to our nursing home residents. This year we were in bad shape, very few Lap Robes and nothing else. We put a plea out to the Community Happy Hookers and you ladies responded. This year we delivered 210 Lap Robes, 30 Afghans, 5 Fleece Blankets, 33 Quilts, 173 Knit Hats, 41 Scarves, 8 Crocheted Boas, 9 Walker Bags, 16 Pairs of Booties, 33 Shawls and 1 Poncho. The most ever delivered. This was truly a community project and we give our thanks to all of you lovely ladies. Please keep reading The Advertiser, when we reopen we will have a party to celebrate you and your generosity. Thank you and May God Bless You and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year.
