The biannual Fine Arts and Digital Media Faculty Exhibit is on view Nov. 1st through Dec. 1st, in the Teaching Gallery at Hudson Valley Community College. Featuring the work of 13 faculty members and talks by four of the artists, the exhibit opens Thursday, Nov. 1st, from 4 to 6 p.m. on the Troy campus. The opening reception and artist talks are free to the public.
The artists, working in all media, are Justin Baker, Ryan Chase Clow, Milt Connors, Tara Fracalossi, Kyra Garrigue, Richard Garrison, Benj Gleeksman, William Jaeger, Thomas Lail, Julie Pamkowski, GG Roberts, Linda Ryder, and Jason Kates van Staveren.
Artist talks are scheduled for noon to 12:45 p.m. in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center Auditorium on Tuesday, Nov. 6 – Julie Pamkowski; Wednesday, Nov. 14 – Thomas Lail; Tuesday, Nov. 20 – Tara Fracalossi; Wednesday, Nov. 28 – Jason Kates van Staveren.
Gallery hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; noon to 7 p.m. Wednesdays; noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays, and closed Sundays and Mondays, and Nov. 21-25. The Teaching Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Administration Building.
