North Greenbush Memorial Day Parade

Town Supervisor Joe Bott is proud to announce the Town of North Greenbush Annual Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 30th. The parade kicks off at 1:30 pm from Town Hall. The streets of Wynantskill will once again be lined with our residents as we remember our men and women who died while serving in the United States military. The parade will be lead by our local veterans who continue to work to ensure the fallen members of our military are remembered and honored. We are excited to once again have our veterans lead the parade and have received an overwhelming response by local organizations who also want to march in the parade and pay tribute on this important day. We have several marching bands who will provide musical entertainment while marching down the parade route which starts at Town Hall on Main Avenue, to Route 150, to Marion Avenue, to Brookside Avenue, to Main Ave and ending at Town Hall. Residents in these areas should plan for road closures along the parade route. Following the parade, we will hold a moving ceremony honoring our fallen soldiers in front of Town Hall. This is sure to be our biggest parade ever. If you have any questions or are interested in participating, please contact the supervisor’s office at (518) 283-5313, x5. We look forward to seeing you on Memorial Day.
