We encourage all our local veterans to join us for this drive-by procession, from the safety of their own vehicle. Rides will be provided for those veterans unable to drive or be driven.

Veterans able to join the parade are asked to rsvp to Rik Cosgrave at the following, with your name and phone #:

Emergency Food Collection Saturday

NORTH GREENBUSH –  On Saturday, June 5 from 10am to 2pm there will be a food collection event at Hope Lutheran Church, 470 Winter Street Extension in North Greenbush. In addition, there will be a bake sale with all receipts being divided between CoNSERNS-U and Doors of Hope food pantries.

This event will be entirely outdoors in the church parking lot. To join this important event, just fill a bag with non-perishable food items and bring them to the parking lot. There will be people on hand to accept your donations.

While you may think that the pandemic crisis has passed due to some opening announcements, the fact is the crisis is not over. There are still many people out of work, many people that are just squeaking by on what little they have. These people and these food pantries are in need. We have food-challenged people in all our neighborhoods, and this is your chance to help. We’re not asking a lot, just a little from many of you and then there will be a lot. For additional information, or any questions call Jim at 518-210-3289. Thank you, see you soon!
