Music Festival Gilead Lutheran Church

Gilead Lutheran Church, located at the junction of Route 7 & 278 in Center, will host a Spring Music Festival on Saturday,  April 29, 2023, at 6:30 PM. We are currently looking for singers, musicians or any groups that would like to participate. 

All types of music are welcome both secular and religious. The aim to have a fun night out and enjoy some fellowship. A dessert reception will follow. If you are interested in participating, please contact John Shanahan @ 518-526-1478

9th Annual Dustin Mele Memorial Concert

Saturday, March 25, 6 PM, Brown’s Revolution Hall, 425 River St. Troy. $20 minimum suggested donation at the door. Concert to benefit suicide prevention and mental health services.

World renowned musician and music producer Robert Etoll will be flying in from Los Angeles for a special reunion of the Bob Etoll Band.

Other bands performing include Emerald City, Soul Sky and Super 400 along with guests Tommy Love, Scotty Mac, Matt Mirabile, Tony Perrino, Johnny Rabb, Sean Matthew Whiteford, Chris Sanders & more. Dustin’s father Joe Mele is a renowned musician who has played locally and nationally for over 45 years.

Proceeds from the Memorial Concert will support three organizations, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP); National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and Rensselaer County mental health and emergency assistance programs through Catholic Charities CoNSERNS-U program, all in memory of Dustin.

Robert Etoll is one of the world’s leading composers and music producers of trailers, documentaries, TV theme songs and animated series. He grew up in Troy and is thrilled to return to reunite with his old bandmates Peter Iselin, Chris Garabedian, Joe Montarello, Frank Rossi and notable special guests.

Suicide is at epidemic proportions and touches more and more lives and families every day. Over the past 9 years, the Memorial Concert has gone above and beyond to try to bring awareness and assistance to those who are struggling in the Capital Region.

Averill Park High School: Class of 2014 Reunion Planning

Somehow, someway, it’s been almost 10 years since the Averill Park High School Class of 2014 graduated! Planning has begun for a reunion to celebrate and re-connect sometime in 2024.

Warren County Radio Club

Warren County Radio Club presents our first Annual Ham Radio Swap meet on April 15th, 2023 from 8am to 12pm at the Queensbury High school, 409 Aviation Rd Queensbury , NY 12804 . Cost 5$ which will go towards door prize.

Town of North Greenbush Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Hippity Hoppity Easter’s on its way! The Town of North Greenbush Youth and Recreation Committee is “hoppy” to announce Peter Cottontail is hoppin’ down the bunny trail right to North Greenbush for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. No fooling …. it will be held on Saturday, April 1st at 10:00 am at town hall, 2 Douglas Street in Wynantskill. 

Children should bring their baskets to collect all of those special treats. We will even have a surprise visit by the bunny who would love to say hi! We hope to have it outside as usual so dress appropriately (for rain we will be inside).

Crafters Wanted in Richfield Springs

CAPITAL DISTRICT – Applications are currently being accepted for two popular craft events in Richfield Springs–the 42nd Annual Friendship Craft Festival to be held on Saturday, June 10 in Spring Park and the 3rd Annual Fall Craft Fair scheduled for Saturday, October 7 at the Cullen Pumpkin, 587 Cullen Road.  Both events are sponsored by the Church Of Christ Uniting in Richfield Springs.
