Comic Hypnotist Terry Parrett is coming to AP!
Terry Parrett will be returning to Averill Park High School to perform his hilarious Hypnotist Show in the annual event held by the Senior Class ‘19 as a fundraiser. Please join us and decide for yourself if you believe in hypnosis.

Senior Paint and Punch Event March 29th
Join us at East Greenbush Town Hall on Fri., March 29th, for our Spring Paint and Punch event featuring artist Noreen Powell.

Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament Fundraiser
The West Sand Lake Vol. Fire Department Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament will be held on March 2nd, 1:00 pm (doors open at 12 noon) at the West Sand Lake Vol. Fire Dept. Hall, 3695 NY Route 43. The cost will be $25 FD Entry Donation. $50 buy-in goes to prize pool (35,000 in chips). $20 additional add-on avail. 50/50 raffle available.

West Sand Lake Vol. Fire Department Deep Stack “Omaha High” Poker Tournament will be held on Sat., February 23, 1:00 pm (doors open at 12 noon).
Cost: $25 entry FD donation, $60 buy-in goes to prize pool, 30,000 in chips. Re-entry chip available within 1st hour of play. $20 additional add-on available. 50/50 raffle tickets available.

Extension Holds “Spring Garden Day” March 2
Rensselaer County Master Gardeners
Spring starts March 2nd with “Spring Garden Day,” a program of gardening classes and fun for gardeners, held at Tamarac High School in Brunswick. Attendees can choose from ten classes covering re-thinking perennials, delightful dahlias, deer-proofing your yard, hummingbird gardens, stunning succulents, growing tomatoes and more. Special Speaker Kate Kerin will show us Innisfree, a world-class garden in nearby Dutchess County. The Keynote Session, entitled “Exploring The Farm To Table Revolution,” features Farmer Justine Denison of Denison Farms, restauranteur Jinah Kim of Sunhee’s Kitchen, and Food Writer Deanna Fox. A plant sale, garden book sale, Pick-A-Prize Auction, and fabulous door prizes are other highlights. Participants also receive a delicious homemade lunch featuring soups, Stromboli and desserts. Program fee is $30 per person and pre-registration is required. Pre-register early as this event always sells out.
