Glendora Vegetarian Club
Are there bad things on our mind? Sickness? Pain? Money? Somebody was mean to us? Depression? Why? It is all because we are thinking of ourselves too much, because we are too self centered, because we are too egotistical. So we are going to take all that time and energy and life and put it into loving and helping the whole world, loving the best we have ever seen anybody love. We did this , and what did we find out? We found out that love is God. We always wanted to know what God was like. We always wanted to be with God, but we could not introcept it. We always knew what love was like, every nanometer of it. What else happened? We stopped thinking about anything that was bad: no negative thought, no second level, trivial or ugly thought. We were happy and jolly, then we learned something new: God is all. God is the only Creator. If it wasn’t created by God, it wasn’t created. And we are one with God. Make believe that God is an entity like a human body. Glennie is a cell in this body. Is there any way you or Glennie could be separated from this body? No, we are a flowing spirit and oneness. Did we discover anything else? Yes, God is good. So here we are: happy, whole, healthy, good, loving, kind, selfless. Is there anything else? Yes, Go vegan!
American Legion Post 1489 Fundraiser Dinner
WYNANTSKILL – Fundraiser dinner. American Legion Post 1489 Main Ave Wynantskill on December 18, 2020 from 4pm to 7pm. Ham, potatoes, and carrots. Eat in or take out. $10. Call 518-227-7438 to reserve. A percentage of the proceeds will go to homeless veterans.
