Glendora Vegeterian Club

Hi folks,

Thanksgiving was a good day to count our blessings. Let us start with number 1. The Universe, the grand, the grand, the glorious Universe. 2. You were born, and the chances were very slight. 3. You are alive and healthy. 4. You have food, clothing and a home. 5. You have freedom and independence. 6. You are free of catastrophes, no house on fire, no weather catastrophes, no accidents or injuries, no robberies, no assaults. 7. You have stability in your finances, education, career. 8. You have a spouse, and you and your spouse have jobs.

 1. The barber asked, “Where are you going for your vacation?” The young man said, “Rome.” The barber told him he wouldn’t like Rome. “The beds are hard, the food is no good, and you will never get to see the Pope!”

The young man was disenchanted, but he went anyway. When he returned, the barber asked, “Where did you go for your vacation?”

The young man said, “I went to Rome; the beds were comfortable, the food was delicious, and I did get to see the Pope.” The barber said, “You got to see the Pope? What did the Pope say to you?” “He pat me on the head three times and said, ‘Where did you get that haircut?’”
