Glendora Vegetarian Club

The current edition of American Vegan Online reports that black owned restaurant businesses are on the rise. Owners of Unsoul Food Cafe, Bryon and Natasha Docketts, won a huge award in the their Philly MAC-Down 4 competition, for their recipe that contains vegan cheese. Shaun Thomas and Charmaine Quarle  of Go Vegan Philly won the Vegan Philly Award as the Best New Vegan Restaurant. V Marks the Shop, owned by Carlo Giordana and Carmella Lanni, are famous for their vegan convenience foods.

Go vegan!

Glendora notices the preponderance of “cheese food” and “cheese products” and the paucity of real cheese. This is veganism. What is a vegan? A vegan person lives harmlessly – no hurting of animals or anybody else. This means no animal products.

Glendora and friends will enjoy another vegan Thanksgiving with turnips, potatoes, gravy, dressing, peas, squash and cranberry sauce. All are welcome. It will be the week before Thanksgiving.

Jokes

1. Mommy, why does a bride always wear white?

It is the color we associate with happiness and joy and comfort.

Then why does the groom wear black?

2. Son, money doesn’t grow on trees.

Then how come banks always have branches?
