Latham-Colonie Columbiettes Breakfast Buffet

The Latham-Colonie Columbiettes are hosting a Breakfast Buffet on Sunday, October 9th, 2022 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am at the Latham-Colonie Knights of Columbus Council, 328 Troy-Schenectady Road, Latham, N.Y. 12110.

Menu includes; Scrambled Eggs, an Omelet Station, Home Fries, Corned Beef Hash, Bacon and Sausage, Pancakes and French Toast served w/Warm syrup, A Variety of Cereals and Juices, Bananas and Hot Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate.

Hope’s Kitchen Free Community Dinner Thursday October 6

Sit down community dinners are back! Join us for a ham dinner on October 6th.

Hope’s Kitchen, a ministry of Hope Lutheran Church and Cornerstone Community Church of Lansingburgh, will be offering a free community dinner on Thursday, October 6th. The dinner will be sit down, with the option of take-out, served at Cornerstone Church, 570 3rd Avenue in Troy, from 3:00 to 6 PM. On the menu: Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, Rolls and Butter, and Dessert. Free will donations are gratefully accepted.

Reservations are required for either sit-down dinners or take-out dinners. Deadline for reservations is Friday, September 30th. Call (518) 235-3851 for reservations and specify number of eat-in or take-out meals.

Brooks’ Bar-B-Q Take Out Dinner

The United Women of Faith at the First United Methodist Church of East Greenbush located at 1 Gilligan Road, are having a Brooks’ Bar-B-Q Take Out Dinner on Saturday, October 8th from 4-6:00 p.m. The menu will include: a ½ chicken with coleslaw, baked potato, a dinner roll, butter and dessert for $15 Just chicken for $7. Reservations are PREFFERED and can be made by calling 518-477-9693 by Friday, October 7th .

Chicken BBQ at Center Brunswick Fire Company

The Volunteer Fire Company of Center Brunswick, Inc. is hosting a Chicken BBQ on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 4:00pm–6:00pm. Dinner includes half chicken, macaroni salad, corn on the cob, roll and a drink. Cost is $15.00/dinner.

Come in person Monday nights to the firehouse between 7:00-8:00pm or all members have tickets to sell. Tickets also available through our Facebook page. Roast Beef Supper at Pittstown Methodist Church Hall

Roast Beef Supper on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Pittstown United Methodist Church hall (located in the village of Pittstown on NY Route 7) from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Eat in or Take out. East Schodack Fire Company Pizza Night

Pizza & Wings are Back! Eat-in or Take-Out available. Please join us on Sat., October 1st. for our monthly Pizza Night. 

Menu includes: Fresh made pizza-Cheese(red or white) $10, extra toppings $1.50 whole pizza and $1.00 half pizza each. “The Works”- $15 , chicken wings- 10 for $10, mozzarella sticks- six for $4, and a bowl of salad – $3. Serving begins at 4:00, call 518- 479-3366 (after 2:00) to order ahead.

Pizza Nights will be the first Saturday of the month till June.

Fall 2022 Chicken Bar-B-Q

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Poestenkill, 772 Route 351, Poestenkill, NY 12140 will hold our Fall 2022 Chicken Bar-B-Q on Saturday, October 1st at the church with a Drive-Thru, Take-Out Only dinner.

The meal consists of: 1/2 chicken, baked potato, green beans, Cole slaw, cranberry sauce, roll and choice of homemade Apple or Pumpkin pie for dessert for a donation of $15 per meal.

Pick-up time begins at 4:30 pm and ends at 6 pm. We strongly encourage you to pre-order your meals early by calling (518) 283-1447. Reservations are suggested as our last dinner sold out. Thank you for your support.

Averill Park Fire Department Breakfast Sandwich Fundraiser

Let the fire company prepare made-to-order breakfast sandwiches for you and the family.  Please support our Breakfast Sandwich Fundraiser being held Sunday, September 25,, 2022 from 8:00 am until 11:00 am at the Averill Park Fire Station located at 35 Eastern Union Turnpike.  

Drive up and order your choice of ham, bacon or sausage on this 2-egg delicious sandwich prepared on Bella Napoli hard rolls, served with a hash brown for just $6 each!! In addition, fresh Bella Napoli donuts will also be available for you to purchase.

We really appreciate your support and invite you to stop in and see what we do.  This is a very rewarding activity for someone who would like to volunteer to help others in their community as both firematic and non-firematic members.  We would love to talk to you more about the opportunity.
