Glendora Vegetarian Club
The somnolent Glendora Vegetarian Club has awakened, wide eyed and bushy tailed, ready for a grand party on August 7th at noon. Please bring a vegan dish (no animal products!). Glendora will serve you 7 scrumptious vegan Chinese dishes: Broccoli with Garlic Sauce, Snow Peas and Water Chestnuts, Broccoli with Baby Corn, Moo Shu Vegetables, Ma Pao Bean Cakes, Mixed Vegetables with Garlic Sauce, and Szechuan Tofu. Meet us on the east lawn at 45 Elm St. in Nassau Village. Bring your own fork and plate, and load it up with Chinese vegetable delights. We are combining this meeting with our three-man tech crew from Connecticut.
1. Employee: I love the way the boss conducts his business meetings. He calls us together. He presents his proposals. He says, All in favor say Aye; all opposed say Bye.
2. They have cars that talk. They have scales that talk. Why can’t they make a washing machine that talks and tells you what it did with the other sock?
3. Counterfeiter: Can you change this 18 dollar bill?
Clerk: Sure, do you want 3 sixes or 2 nines?
4. What do you call a miniature guppy? A microfiche.
5. Doctor: There’s nothing I can do for your disease. It’s hereditary.
Patient: Then send the bill to my dad.
