Taborton Zion’s Chicken & Biscuit dinner
SAND LAKE – Taborton Zions Church. We are having a Chicken & Biscuit dinner. June 12th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Take Out only. On the menu is a Chicken & Biscuit dinner mixed vegetable and a delicious cupcake for dessert. The cost is $12.00 for adults and children under 12 will be $5.00. Kiwanis Pasta Dinner Fundraiser
SAND LAKE – “Take-Out” (Only). The Sand Lake Kiwanis Club wants to invite all to participate in the next Pasta Dinner fundraiser on Saturday June 12th from 4PM to 7PM at the Sand Lake Veterans Hall on Rt. 43. Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for Kids (10yrs. & Younger), or $25 Special for a Family of 4. Meals will consist of pasta, meatballs, salad, bread, & dessert. All Meals are Drive-Up/Take-Out. Pre Orders may be made starting at 2 PM (on the day of the event) by calling (518) 421-1339. Pasta Dinners will continue to be held every second Saturday of each month. All proceeds support Kiwanis community projects.

Valley Falls United Methodist Church Chicken Barbecue
VALLEY FALLS – The Valley Falls United Methodist Church is holding a takeout only chicken barbecue on Saturday, June 12. The menu includes chicken, pasta salad, baked beans, a roll, and a brownie. Pick-up will be at the church, 16 State Street, Valley Falls at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $13 for adults and $6 for children ages 6-12. TROY – Benefit for roof fund – Pawling Ave UMC will hold a BBQ on the lawn on Saturday, June 12 from 3-4:30 pm. POESTENKILL – The Sullivan Jones VFW Post 7466 is proud to begin resuming our monthly breakfasts on June 13. A limited menu will be available from from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and we welcome all.

WEST SAND LAKE – Please join the West Sand Lake Fire Company-Auxiliary for Breakfast on June 16, 2021 from 7:30am to 11:00am at the West Sand Lake Fire hall. Due to the COVID restrictions we can only do Take Out. Breakfast will include Scrambled Eggs or Cheesy Eggs; Sausage, Hashbrown, French Toast, French toast sticks, Blueberry or plain pancake. Adults $8, Children (5-12) $5 and children under 5 are free. Please call 518-527-3612 to place your order before driving up. You can also call to place an order and tell us what time you’d like to pick it up. We are looking forward to being able to have the breakfast in the hall. If this goes well, we will continue with “drive-up” breakfast once a month until COVID restrictions allow us to do it inside the hall.
Breakfast Sandwich & Hashbrown Fundraiser
WEST SAND LAKE – The West Sand Lake Fire Company Auxiliary helps to raise funds to support the firemen who serve West Sand Lake. We will be serving sandwiches & hash-browns from 7:30am until 11:00am on June 20th. Choice of sandwich will be sausage, bacon, or ham. Just drive up and place your order and it will be brought out to you. Price for a sandwich and hash-brown will be $7.
Iron Works BBQ coming to the West Sand Lake Fire Co.
WEST SAND LAKE – On Thursday, June 24, 2021 the West Sand Lake Fire Company will be holding a BBQ with the Iron Works Grill. Dinners available are 1/4 Chicken for $13 or 1/2 Rack of Ribs for $14. Both dinners include baked beans and macaroni salad. Dinners can be picked up at the Fire House (3695 Rt. 43) from 4-6 pm.
