Averill Park Fire Department Breakfast Sandwich Fundraiser

Let the fire company prepare made-to-order breakfast sandwiches for you and the family.  Please support our Breakfast Sandwich Fundraiser being held Sunday, May 22,, 2022 from 8:00 am until 11:00 am at the Averill Park Fire Station located at 35 Eastern Union Turnpike.  Drive up and order your choice of ham, bacon or sausage on this 2-egg delicious sandwich prepared on Bella Napoli hard rolls for just $6 each!!

We really appreciate your support and invite you to stop in and see what we do.  This is a very rewarding activity for someone who would like to volunteer to help others in their community as both firematic and non-firematic members.  We would love to talk to you more about the opportunity.

Return of Taborton Turkey Dinner

RETURN of Taborton Turkey Dinner, Take-out only Reservations are now being taken for our Turkey dinner, to be picked up at the Zion United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, on Saturday, June 4th, 741 Taborton Rd, Sand Lake. Pick up times will be from 4:30- 6:30. Come and enjoy a Roast Turkey dinner w/ dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, cole slaw, cranberry sauce, roll w/ butter and pie for dessert

All you Can Eat Breakfast – West Sand Lake Auxiliary

Come join us for Breakfast at the West Sand Lake Fire Hall on 5/15/2022. From 7:30am until 11:00am we will be serving: Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Hash Browns, French Toast, Pancakes, Southern Sausage Gravy & Biscuits (while they last), fruit, Toast, Orange Juice and Coffee.

Adults $10 – Children (5-12) $5 – Under 5 – Free.

We hope you will continue to support our efforts to raise funds for the firefighters!

BSA Scout Troop 166 BBQ Dinner

BSA Scout Troop 166 will be holding a take-out chicken bbq dinner event on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Chandler Young VFW Post 8162. 

Each dinner will include a half chicken, a baked potato, coleslaw, corn bread and a cookie. This is a take-out only event. Tickets are $15 each and all profits will go toward Troop activities and events. Please contact Andy at 518-423-9061 for tickets.

First United Methodist Church of East Greenbush Food Trucks Festival

VFW Post 7338, East Greenbush, 100 Hayes Road. 

Sunday May 15, 2022, 9 am to 12 noon. Eat in or take-out.

Breakfast includes Buttermilk Pancakes, French Toast, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausages, Home Fries, Corned Beef Hash, Toast, Coffee, Tea,  Water and Assorted Juices.

Adults – $10.00, Children 6 to 12 – $5.00, Children Under 6 – Free

We will also have raffle tickets for sale. Donations are always welcome and very much appreciated!

Glendora Vegeterian Club

he Glendora Vegetarian Club is now 10 years old. It started at Nassau Free Library when Katherine Chansky was the director. We have spent $14,000 on donations to animal causes, on buying vegan dinners for people and on vegan products. We have spent $62,000 on 400 vegan commercials on Channel 6, CBS News. On Sunday, May 1st, we had one of our exciting vegan parties. People brought their own forks and plates, and we filled their plates over and over again.

A vegan diner is presenting A Chat with Glendora TV show on the Pittsfield TV station. The presenter is Shari Pelletier.

With a vegan lifestyle and a television dedication, Glendora is now 94 years old with no doctors and no medication.
