Glendora Vegetarian Club
With a vegan lifestyle and television dedication, Glendora has lived to age 93. Until 11/29/20 she had had no help from doctors and medication. She recently celebrated her 93rd birthday with vegan pizza, a huge green salad, chocolate almond milk, a vegan cake and vegan ice cream.

Hope’s Kitchen Dinner is Back at Cornerstone Community Church, Troy
TROY – Hope’s Kitchen, a ministry of Hope Lutheran Church, is serving dinner at Cornerstone Community Church, 530 3rd Ave., Lansingburgh, Thursday, May 6, from 3:30 – 6:30 PM. Take out or eat-in. Join us for a free community dinner, companionship and conversation. Menu is: baked chicken, with sides of boiled potatoes, corn, coleslaw, rolls and butter. Dessert: chocolate or vanilla pudding. East Greenbush Fire Department “Fair Food Funday’s”
EAST GREENBUSH – The East Greenbush Fire Department will be hosting Fair Food fundraiser at the fire station located at 68 Phillips Road East Greenbush. The dates are May 7 – 9 from 11:00 am – 7 :00 pm where food from a food truck with all types of fair type foods available, steak sandwich, sausage sandwich, french fries, deep fried oreos, and many more foods available. Come support the fire department for a great time and good food. Due to Covid 19 this is Take Out event only.
Kiwanis Pasta Dinner Fundraiser “Take-Out” Only
SAND LAKE – Second Saturday of Each Month – The Sand Lake Kiwanis Club wants to invite all to participate in the next Pasta Dinner fundraiser on Saturday May 8th from 4pm-7pm at the Sand Lake Veterans Hall on Rt. 43. Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for Kids (10yrs. & Younger), or $25 Special for a Family of 4. Meals will consist of pasta, meatballs, salad, bread, & dessert. All Meals are Drive-Up/Take-Out. Scout Troop 166 Chicken BBQ Dinner
Nassau – Scout Troop 166 will be holding a take-out chicken bar-b-q dinner event on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Chandler Young VFW Post. Each dinner will include a half chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, corn bread and a cookie. This is a take out only event.
